Promenade on Providence. The grand opening is Thursday, June 21, with
special sales running through Sunday. This is the second location for
Sun & Ski in the Charlotte area, along with the store at Concord Mills.
Sun & Ski Sports, founded in 1980 in Houston, Tex., carries anything
for the outdoor enthusiast. The store carries equipment for water
sports, snow sports, running, cycling, and others. After the store
starts on Thursday, they will be open for business Monday-Saturday
from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm and Sundays from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
While providing many top quality products, Sun & Ski Sports also cares
about their customers, store manager Michael Bailey said.
"We pride ourselves on providing a wonderful experience for the
customer," Bailey said.
The grand opening sale will last Thursday through Sunday with
everything in the store marked down at least 10% with many items
marked down much more. In addition to everything inside the store
being on sale, there will also be a tent sale with all of their
bicycles being featured. Bailey shared that the savings can be real by
stating "if you come in here to spend $80, then you will save at least
$10."
